can someone plz tell me if this is an alright related text for inner journeys:

When boys meant "yuck"
and friends were new
dreams were unshattered
and worries few

When recess was too short
and life too long
decisions came easy
without the need to belong

When storks delivered babies
and passions weren't so strong
friendships were unbroken
right was right, wrong was wrong

When bad things didn't happen
and only skinned knees brought tears
and the nightlight in it's socket
quieted all of our fears

When farewell meant just for summer
and real friends didn't part
and fun went on forever
and never left a broken heart.

well...its ok. i mean, i can see how u could use it as an inner journey of progression from childhood to adulthood, loss of innocence, growing self-awareness and sense of responsibility etc. it really depends i guess on what ur other texts r.will u be able to fit this text in with ur other texts in one thesis? if the ideas r too different, id suggest finding another text - if it fits, then go for it!
