Almost every cartoon has some sought of caption or contains words that make exaggerate the cartoon and make it sarcastic and/or funny. Every cartoon is different. So you should look for any visual effects that the composer might have included such as colour, shadows, contrast between darkness and light, and then analyse how these contribute to the cartoon, and how the cartoon represents physical journeys.

Haha totally dude! Hope all the people here in BOS do achieve their dream UAI :)

Should you be using a Cartoon as a related piece of material, or encounter it through AOS Section1, the first and most important aspects to look out for would be:

1. The Size of the cartoon/image
2. Work methodically from either the top to the bottom or from one side to another.
3. Next, Locate the techniques in that order.

Techniques can be:

Tone - Colour Contrasts/similiarity
Font texts used as well as Size
Techniques used in texts i.e. Puns, alliteration, etc
If a character is positioned in that cartoon, which direction is it gazing at?

That list can go on and on, but remember, a technique by itself is useless without the meaning of it, so be sure to state why alliteration was used; but keep in mind that one must also link it to being a concept of a Journey.

what techniques are used in documentaries
Look for camera angles, such as the screen shaking to show that the cameraman is moving with the audience, close ups. Other techniques might include a voice over, ie a narrator speaking in the background, listen for the music and what type it's playing, possibly special sound/visual effects.
