Help...still hope for atleast a band 5 (1 Viewer)

Hey guys im really panicking about math. my average for 3u is just a pass and for 4u its not a pass :( but i still have one assessment this term which is 15% of the total and the trials which are 45% and then theres the hsc. Still hope for a band 5? thnx in advance.

well if its any guide for you i barely passed all the way through and ended up with 74 in three unit. ranked 35ish/60

does your school sets hard exams?
if thats the case, then the hsc exam should be easier for you
it still isnt too late to get a tutor and help you for another 5 months or so
its never too late to gt a band 6, let alone a band 5
just work at it :)

well generally for our exams the avg is usually a fail mark lol (subjects like 3u 4u chem phys). st marys senior high. our cohort is huge. but yea i have a tutor now n im just aiming for an 80 uai.

You can get a UAI of 100 from any subject, if you have what it takes.

barely passed as in about a raw mark of about 45-55% every assessment up to the final exam. they get scaled up to the shithouse.

So i'd have to get a 80+ mark to get scaled up with a VET course ..

To be honest with you mate, anything short of a miracle and you're below band 5.

You'll be lucky to get a band 4.

My advice? Give up now and don't waste your time.
