Struggle with getting a 97.8 atar is that i now have too many options to choose from :S
any advice will help
Im interested in doing something related to current affairs and media however i want something to back up an arts degree given it doesnt hold that much grounding in the job market, so i've narrowed down my options to 3
1. Media and marketing at macquarie pro: only a 3 year course and combines two industries con: uni doesn't hold that much prestige
2. Media and communications at usyd pro: good uni con: niche degree
3. BA Journalism with international studies at uts pro: good uni + get to go overseas con: 5 year degree -__-

Anyone know which uni is the best for journalist or any more info on any of the courses like is international studies a waste of time

Generally, going for a course with a higher ATAR cut-off means a higher demand for the course, and of course jobs too.
So I would go with something as close to your ATAR cut-off as possible.. to really make the most out of your ATAR.
I mean.. if medicine/law had a low ATAR cut-off.. then everyone would do it wouldn't they? :)
