I'm currently doing the Case Study for Sports Medicine, but I've run into a bit of trouble with the last question.

The case, basically is a woman taining for a marathon, vegan diet, suffering ammenorrhea, sore shins, wheezing, blah, blah, blah.

So I've diagnosed iron deficiency, asthma and shin splints, but the last question doesn't really rate to anything I remember doing.

"4. Outline what actions Maria could take to enhance her physical preparation."

Now, I might be missing the point or something here, but it seems to me that it looks like something from the Improving Performance option. I have to outline relevant strategies yo enhance performance and demonstrate an understanding of preventative actions.

So I'm guessing I'll have to touch on fluid replacement, thermoregulation and possibly clothing/footwear for safety. As for enhancing performance, I have no idea. Should I talk about resistance training, the FITT principle, etc and work out a rough plan for her to undertake? Any hints or pointers?
