I'm looking to apply for the uac eas for "PO1A - Disability or long-term medical condition" because I have some diagnoses which meet the criteria. I
know that unis or uac don't tell you how many points you're granted for your SR but I'd like to know how many are possible if I'm only applying under one category.
I'm looking to do double law at unsw next year which needs a 97.7 (up from 94 in 2024hsc :spzz:)
I'm fairly confident I can get 90+ raw atar if i lock in rn lol
Thanks!

I think that a particular category may be awarded more points compared to another if it is considered to be more severe. For example (note that this may not necessarily apply, but would still be reasonable to assume), "P01A: Disability or long-term medical" condition is likely considered a more severe circumstance than "L01A: ESL/started school in Australia in Year 11 or Year 12". As such, an applicant to whom the former applies may be awarded more points than an applicant to whom the latter applies.

With that being said, I think that while one circumstance may be awarded more points than another, it may still not be sufficient to be awarded the maximum number of points (10 in the case of UNSW) or close to it. Because of this, you must do your best to maximise your ATAR and reduce your reliance on any potential points that you may receive under EAS, especially if you are claiming only one circumstance.

I hope this helps! 😄
