help with projectile motion qn (1 Viewer)

How do i find the range of the projectile and the time of flight if i have the distance the ball travells and the agnle at which it is set?

There are 2 ways generally to attain the range.

there is a simple formula
  1. Range=(u^2 sin2@)/g
  2. or the more formal method:
    (Delta) y=0
    then you find the time of the flight
    sub that into the range formula
    R=(Delta)X (y)=Ux.t
hope that helps if u want more info pm me, its hard to explain when i dont know how to do the subscripts and stuff.

ps. for your case you would use formula no. 2 and work your way backwards
