What exactly should we be learning in theory for art.
What artists?
Styles of analysing?
What movements?
What artworks?

YOUR TEACHER SHOULD BE GIVING YOU THEORY SHEETS ABOUT IT.
We can't tell you what to do as each school does it individually...
Sorry

The exams have questions on heaps of subjects... Each school does pretty much what they want.
All i can tell you is that we're pretty much focusing on contemporary practices and the 'postmodern' with a bit of critcal thrown in for luck...

Artists, they always throw stuff about post modernism, the way it pushes boundries. So use my:bedtracy emit, the 11th hour, Wahol's work(argue that he and pop brought art from high brow into art for everyone and made as absurd as it really is.

Cubism is really good due the fact it was thought out rather then evolution

You should be able to draw a line through history and know a basic time-line.

Impressionism, pop and post modern are nice and easy to remember.

Maybe use abstract expressionism because you can talk about the cold war influence on promotion of the works.

This is pretty basic shit people.

so far i have been mainly concentrating on architecture and post-modernism.. peopel like le corbusier and stuff like that.

a good modernism background will also be needed, so you can compare and contrast everyting.

good luck. ASK your teacher, they're there to help.
