I got a pretty bad ATAR this year and got a main round offer for bachelor of arts.
Is it possible that I can transfer my course to, let's say for example, bachelor of commerce if I do exceedingly well in my subjects (even though it is a different faculty)

Possibly but probably none of your credits will carry over which means starting all over again in a new comm degree.

You can transfer from anything to anything as long as you get the marks... except maybe medicine where they still take ATAR mostly into consideration.

At Sydney after your first year of uni they take the best of uni results or ATAR.
