ok, i asked this in ns, but i got told to try here

ok, something just happenned, and my USB drive was completely wiped...anyone know if its possible to recover what was on it?

Try it in a different computer. If you pull out a usb device without ejecting it, your computer has a fit, and it may work fine on another computer.

If not, hold tight, look for file recovery tools in google, there are some good ones out there. Sorry I can grab links for you, about to go out, I'll edit this post w/ some tools for you later this arvo.

How exactly did you wipe it, too? Pull it out without ejecting? or delete everything?

i did nothing!!
i was working on my bio report, and went to save some changes, and it gets about 3/4 of the way through saving, and comes up with an error telling me its lost it, and i thought it meant just my unsaved work, but then when i went into the drive, everything is gone.

actually, no need to freak out after all, god im a nong...i just ejected it, and put it back in, and everythings there
i guess i should have tried that this morning hey...oh wells, its all good now.
