hey guys and gals,

I still haven't received my account statement from UWS for some reason. Infact I neglected this because the lady at the student center told me that it was all done online. Only now I realise that I need the account statement to pay. Like I tried phoning that number they give you on the fees website but they ask you how much you want to pay. I'm a full time student but only doing 30 CP this semester. Do I pay $182.00? And whats this about paying fees for each unit?

Even though you are only doing 30cp, you are still classed as a full time student. If your enrolled units are equal to or greater than 30 credit points (0.375 EFTSL) you will be charged a full-time rate (F).
You will need to pay the $182. You can pay this online through Ipay, and the payment reference number is also found in pweb.

So you're sure that I just pay $182 and nothing more?

The only additional thing you need to pay is if your paying your HECS upfront.

If your deferring your HECS, you will only need to pay your $182 student fees.

no i'm not paying HECS upfront so I'll just pay the $182.00. Do you think it would be worthwhile not paying till Tuesday so I can go to the student center and ask them to give me my account statement. will they be able to do this?

It might be best to wait til Tuesday if you definately want your statement. Other than that, the alternate way is through Ipay. But it might be just best to wait. You still will have 2 days after tuesday before the final census date.
