1700's linneuas put forward the binomial classification system where humans were considered to have evolved from apes.. this caused public outcry as ppl were heaps conservative and believed in creationalism..
then..
1805 lamark proposed that organisms change gradually over time and explained the notion of inheretence but he was wrong in saying if somebody lost an arm their childrin wil also lose an arm
1858- alfred wallace and charles darwin proposed their theory of natuarl selection and how the environment directly impacts a species and explain evolution in his book "the origin of the speices" which described how evolution applies to humans..
now will all this hoign on these scientists ideas were condemned and critsisced becuz they didnt conform with societies belief in the bible and "world created in seven days not gradually over time". so scientists ideas were rejected ancd caused political outrage as laws were even past to stop this evolution from being taught at skools lol (if those laws were still in place we wouldnt be learning bout this right now).. but recently scientists are gaining more respect and recognistion which enables further updates on the theory of natural selection but theres stil heaps of religious ppl who find it unnacceptable.
