im doing 3u maths, physics, chem, st. english, ITP and art. i wanna do some sort of engineering at uni (maybe civil, electrical, telecommunications). im finding chem too hard and hav a pretty crap teacher... should i:
(a) drop art (got 72/100 in yr 11)
(b) drop chem (got 65/100 in yr 11 LOL)
(c) keep em all and go nuts

im not sure whether its more important to do the subjects u will get the highest mark in or the ones that are most relevant. also which of the marks for art and chem would scale highest for my UAI?

last thing:
is the subject scaling thing on this site actual marks added to your raw mark or are they some other weird unit?

you need a little bit of chem in all engineering. I'd say drop art. Visual Arts takes alot of time with the major projects, research etc.

don't worry about scaling. higher scaled subjects would be harder for most people. So do what you find most comfortable doing.

There is a curve to convert your raw mark to a scaled mark. Then a separate process to convert your raw mark to your HSC mark.
