help thats hilarious i think you should keep it depends on ur integrity as a student and whatever u feel about marks cause if they do end up notifying you u could just be like i didnt check

i dont really think they could accuse you of foul play if it does end up changing but also i think theyll most likely recheck and youll lose your marks but depends on how rigorous they are with checking marks

my school scans assessments and my grade has been called out for malpractice when some students changed their marks on the day of signing off and yeah the head sci just gave them a warning otherwise they could get an infringement of sorts...but ur circumstance is different cause 1. diff schools 2. it wasnt you who made the mark

hsc, high school and all that wont matter to anyone in ten years, it effectively has no value.

I wouldn’t have told. Because technically it wouldn’t be ur fault because it is the teacher’s responsibility to make sure they added ur marks up correctly. But I did get an extra mark for my math test once in term 2 and I didn’t get into trouble for not telling

I mean I've done it for like 1 or 2 marks. But 10 that's way too much even for me (like morally speaking) but tru they probs woildnt have known since it was their fault.
The teacher said that the person putting in marks put 11 instead of 1 for a multiple choice.

very different from u, for me i made my math teacher add 8 extra marks bc i refused to believe my mark was as low as a 73 so i ended up getting 81 (not great but better than a 70)

also the exam was over 102 so my final percentage was a 79%

i think they rightfully earned it? they must've went up to just ask why they didn't get their marks for certain questions or smth

i would have thought so too but who says "i made my maths teacher add marks" instead of "i asked my teacher why i didn't get more more marks" if they were asking not demanding. either way im hoping im wrong and they earned their marks bc thats wrong on so many levels

I went to her n told her ‘i dont believe my mark is that low, can u remark it?‘
n she gave me 8 extra marks besides idgaf in life we all competition n no one cared when i told them i got 8 extra marks
when something bothers u doesnt mean everyone got bothered now does it? Also i personally wouldnt be jealous from someone who went from a 73% to a 79% like they didnt even make it to the 80s w that nb of marks added

also tho i am in a selective class 70% of the class r doing standard (43% of the class failed) so 1 they dont care i got ’higher’ 2 idc if they do care bc they’re literally doing standard n i dont see that as competition since im doing ext/adv 3 might move schools so they wont be my focus competition in yr 11 (since my main is the class n then the state)

in case u were wondering the teacher added my exam wrong thats why she gave me 8 extra marks but to think that i simply accepted my mark n didnt ‘extremely cope’ w it (like u mentioned) i wouldve ended w an unfair mark
yes i was rough to the teacher when i went up n said ‘i dont believe thats my mark, can u remark it?’ but at the end of the day i was the one disadvantaged in the class not the rest and as i said in my above message they didnt give two fucks so instead of worrying abt me n how its my fault or how what i did is disrespectful maybe next time ask what happened or ignore
