some1 plz explain how 2 simplify this i hav no0 idea wat the change of base rullee is !!

simplify log(base 9)25 - log(base3)5

Just remember this rule:

log_ab = ln(b) / ln(a)

and you can't go wrong!

With your example,

log₉25 - log₃5
= ln(25) / ln(9) - ln(5) / ln(3)
= ln(5^2) / ln(3^2) - ln(5)/ln(3)
= 2ln(5)/2ln(3) - ln(5)/ln(3)
= 0 #

As simple as that!
