mentoring tommorrow. dam, cant wait to put the shirt on :p

Who else is sort of nervous about mentoring? I mean, half the people in my group are probably much older than me.. and bigger... and i have to tell them to do childish group stuff..lol

Aww, come on, it wasnt that bad, was it? I found it a lot more doable than I originally thought (although the people in my group kept shooting me weird looks... maybe I was a little too loud?). I'm glad its over though- it was so hot!

And it was lovely meeting Cyan and Fornie ;)... and lol at the "i'm not asian"- I will never form impression of others based on nothing ever again! :D

hehe. dam straight :)
It was good to meet you and fornstar too. actually i felt really embarassed at one stage because i kept staring at a different girl who i thought was you, and she looked at me and looked pissed, probably thought i was one of the mq stalkers©, i should have explained to her that i thought she was someone else.. oh well.

yeah, i agree about it being more doable. it was easier and less stressful than i expected, i talk heaps when im under pressure and most of what i said actually made sense, was relevant and probably helpful :) it was good only having only 7 people. I got annoyed at one stage, though, because the girl i was with tried to crack a joke and be really friendly, which was kewl, but i was annoyed at 2 people who kept rolling their eyes at her throughout the hour because it was obvious and it made her be a little less confidencee, like we have to act a little nerdy and show them pretty boring stuff like the psych box goddamit they shouldnt roll their eyes and make looks as if we are idiots.

But that was my only annoyance. the rest of the people in my group were kewl:) its funny how everyone cleared out after eating though, heheh. i'll probably do mentoring next year though.

Food.
Being woken up by your grumpy (but lovely) girlfriend at 6, to get to uni by 8.
Another day at uni for the (pointless) "training".
Thats about it. It feels good helping people with uni stuff that they dont know. And you interact with other people from your course who you didnt know beforehand. All in all its a nice experience. :)
