hi,
im doing my pip on SOCIETAL PRESSURES AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE FEMALE BODY IMAGE..
im trying to conduct my primary qualitative research...

so if there are any females out there who wouldnt mind helping.. thankyou..

im concerntrating on eating disorders..and how society conveys this perfcet image..and what extent ppl go to get it and why..

what is it that makes people want to be this way?

-the media- magazines,tv {models} etc
-pressure from friends? parents? society?

etc... thankyou...any help would be very much appreciated..

one thing that u can do to that i read in cosmo magazine, is sites that are pro anorexic and have like bracelet id's so u can identify other anorexics-very disturbing!
but yeah, thats a really good topic well done on choosing that!
approach every age group though dont leave out certain age brackets if you can
and try and get to some people who have been through eating disorders

This PIP topic has been done many, many times. I'm sure someone on this foum can help you out. From my experience as a Mod, I've seen like at least 10 (no kidding) topic about the female image.

hey i agree with survivor39...even i girl in my year (04") did it and woah it was done too many times before, maybe take a visit to your local library and look up issues that seem unique and interesting to research.
