High school rank but low exam mark? (1 Viewer)

Hi all, I have some really high ranks at school but my exam marks may be very shit. My teachers told us in this case, my HSC mark will be similar to the moderated assessment mark. Im confused.... Let's say I came 2/13 in SDD but my exam mark might be something like 60%, what will happen to my HSC mark? Thanks

Ok:

Your moderated Assesment mark will most likely be still high, say 85 due to the others not stuffing up.

Your exam mark will be lower, say 70 this is your own exam mark.

Then your HSC mark is the average of the two.
78 in this case.
