lyra - emma watson (though she's too hermioneish)
will - ... not sure on that one
mrs coulter - angelina jolie
lord asriel - keanu reeves

I didn't realise other people loved these wonderful books too!

I'm not too excited about the movie.
They're never worth comparing to the books.
Emma Watson would be annoying... her damn voice was grating in HP...

I disagree with Kiera Knightly (def. Rose McGowan) and Keanu Reeves but everything else, yes!
As for Will, the guy who played the brother in Lemony Snickets' ASOUE. I forget his name. Yeah.

i want it like lotr, no fucking people who i know from other roles, it will fuck the movie up. and no bad british acitng from harry potter tx.

hmmm... id have to reread the books to remember all the characters and the way they acted to see who would be good for the role in a movie...
i love the books... but id hate it if they wrecked them by making a movie...
