I am doing propaganda in ww2 and i dont know where to go .... i want to look at the cartoons - how has history been constructed over time BUT i dont know if i am going down the right track.....can anyone help me generally or specifically...LOST

well, have u talked to ur teacher yet? well, many general modern history textbooks on WWII have a chapter on propaganda and it should gove a general outline. are u focussing on any country and their methods of propaganda? also, if ur concentrating on WWII then how is that a construction of propaganda over TIME? how about picking one country (a major one like germany or britain) and then talking about the changing methods of propaganda in that specific country over time? although, if u choose to do germany and are laso doing germany for ur MH national studies (assuming that u are a "modern" student and not "ancient") then u will have to check with ur teacher for overlapping issues...

thanks for that ...i might just focus on Britain.. .... i could use the Punch magazine I think cos that had been used over a long period of time and focused on different events .... i am really uncertain about this AUUUUGGGGHHHH I'll look into that

punch is a good one but there are plenty more..unless u just wanted to focus on just 'punch"...just check with ur teacher whther u are being too broad are ore being too narrow

I have to wait till after half yealies to ask now but i also have info on a magazine similar to Punch but an american one called the Masses so I will see ...I need a question too Oh geez this is going to be fun lol

dont stress about the question...yet. find the right topic area (cos thats the one that technically cannot or rather SHOULD not change after u have written the proposal) first and THEN get ur teacher to help formulate the question...dont get bogged down trying to think of a question when u havent passed step 1 one.

I have already submitted my proposal ...thats my problem ... but its good to know i can change ... if i change it will only be slightly cos my proposal generally was about propaganda
