Holiday is coming up , what should i do with this time ? (1 Viewer)

Im a year 11 student , my holidays in year 10 and under was basically

wake up , watch tv , dvds . play computer , ------> do assignments 2nd last day or even last days of the holidays , only difference this holiday is i have a 20 hour job a week , and oh yeah the almighty easter show is coming

Can any former year 11's help me plz

of course you will need to socialise... but not as much as before
and get off the comp and t.v well.. reduce time on it

yeh computers are enemies of study-time (unless of course you are using the computer to study or something) if you have assignments, get them done and out of the way; you'll thank yourself for it later. And once all your studying is done, just use the rest of your time to do what you do.

there's no reason not to have time to bum around and stuff, but if you have assignments or anything, try and do a bit every day or every second day, if you dont just kinda read over your last few weeks of notes for each subject once or twice sometime towards the end of the holidays. Just that way when you go back you're not like 'huh?'

T.V and computer are braincell killers and Arch-enemies of study..

You're in year 11, dont do too much. Just remember, yes you need to know all the work you studied in year 11 for next year but not one of your marks will count! dont get stressed over it, its not worth it. make sure u know ur work .. do the work in class ur homework and study but not alot! its more or less a practice or an introduction to yr 12 so find ur most effective ways of studying and make sure u know ur work but thats it! dont over work and definately dont stress. take the holidays to relax more than anything maybe do a lil bit of work, organise all ur stuff and make sure u know ur syllabus but otherwise CHILL! year 11 is nothing!

i learnt just about nothing except that Chemistry sux in yr 11, but im doin quite well in yr12, so most the stuff you dont realy need. .
so no reason you should be studying all day... just study for TWO days in the holidays and youll be right

look before you kept going on abt not working as hard as you should be.

so this is the time to get your act together, who cares if you are in yr 11 or now you still need to build the foundation for yr 12.

my advice is have equal balance of work and study. work efficiently might i add.

well studying is advisable, but you still got one year of marks not counting to anything.. so why worry?
