Honestly I did quite exceptional in English and never scored lower than 17/20 and my rank was extremely high in year 11 however the multimodal really screwed me up…. I was expecting anything above 17 and when I saw a 14/20 I was honestly so disappointed. Does anyone have this kind of experience? I guess at least I’m grateful it’s only 15% of my internal, but now I have to play catch up to get back my rank…

Yes dw u can still make a comback 15% is only a small percentage compared to other assessments like trials

stop stressing I got 13/20 for my first year 12 assessment in eng and still got an 87 overall for English, just don't flop again ( I flopped again in trials). my rank went up as most people flopped at some point too

if it helps, I got 89 external, 85 internal--> 87 final mark.
My rank was in the 100s at my school. 70%, honestly won't do anything I guarantee u rn. Don't feel disheartened.

15% of internals means that its only 7.5% of overall. So theres only a 1% difference between you getting 17/20 and a 14/20.
