I'm just here to put in a good word for the teachers and students at Hornsby College of TAFE in the IT section.
Three times in a row a student from the Hornsby IT dep has been on the WorldSkills Team Australia, representing Australia in International Competition.
In 2005, Jarrad Langdon won the Gold Medal in Web Design, beating the best competitors from nearly 20 other countries. He'd just done three IT courses at Hornsby. Jarrad was one of three Hornsby IT competitors at the National Competition the year before. Jarrad Jhoana and Jonathan went to Brisbane to compete, and they won Gold Silver and Bronze medals. Awesome!
Just shows what can happen when you have good students working with good teachers.
