Yep, hotmail have unveiled their new website, so the 'big upgrade' is underway (or is almost complete) - changing the functionality and appearance of hotmail.
Changes: icons replaced, and are identical to those used in Office 2003 and Exchange 2003 (Outlook Web Access). Most of the new features are junk-mail related, to coincide with the release of MSN 9.
iambored, be patient and I'm sure things will return back to normal within a few hours (if not a few days, worst case scenario).

the thing is, it's been happening to me for months, and so i am wondering if it is something to do with my isp, but 2day there was a good reason!
edit: i ahev to learn where all the new buttons are!
edit2: my first complaint - it won't let me 'open in new window'
edit3: i like the new address book, but it's annoying to have to learn how to use the thing again
edit4: yes! new emoticons!

It doesn't appear to be overly friendly in Mozilla, Konquerer, Camino or any other Linux browser I've tried....
The damn text box just spams with HTML code. BRILLIANT.
My text browser in the terminal just had a fatal error...

Yeah... open in new window doesn't work in OsX, Windoze or Mandrake...
