How chopped is science extension (1 Viewer)

hello everybody i picked up science extension because i hate economics and am wondering the implications of doing it. my plan rn is to do 3u math, advanced English, chemistry and business studies and im doing moderately well with this lineup. i want to drop economics and physics because i hate these subjects but to drop both of them i have to pick up an extra unit but its too late to do extension english so yeah. Does this subject scale well in any way shape or form because I can’t find scaling statistics because no one does this

it is super free and scales really well, requires barely any work for the exam study. The project is only weighted 40% of your internal mark at my school and thats the only time consuming part but even if your project is mid you can still get a great mark.

im pretty sure its one of the better scaling subjects, its just that not many ppl are for the major work, its basically a really big depth study and lots of ppl have had enough from in class

science extension is just a full essay subject lol, hence it will waste a lot of time. physics while also partly an essay subject takes the least amount of time

english scaling like shit should be a reason to abandon mandatory english. how the fuck u telling me im a 57 atar student with a band 4 in english? they should do something like naplan/sat, a comprehension exam instead of english essay writing, atleast i wont be bottom 20%

you'll notice standard and advanced look pretty similar on that website, however they are actually completely identical. They scale the same

u should be looking at hsc mark vs scaled mark, percentile is pretty irrelevant
