how do u apply for work experience? do u just rock up to the place u want to work 4 and ask? or do u need papers and permission from ur school?

ur school careers advisor should give u forms and brochures on work experience, that u need to send to ur potential employer for them to fill out and return, but to be accepted for a work experience place, u should contact the place u wanna go to, either by phone or email or something. ask nicely. if u have contacts there, it should be really easy

but i don't think u should be worrying about it now...u'll have plenty of time later on to apply for stuff

depends what year you are in. for year 10 the teachers should help. if you've finished school just ring the places and ask them if they take students for work experience

Teachers/Career Advisor should let you know when you have to start looking for work experience.
Most places, you can just ring them and explain you're doing work experience and they'll say yes or no as to whether they'll take you. Other places may need you to fill out a form first, or be contacted by your school on your behalf.
