How would you analyse an essay? I mean what are the technoques that you can find? Quotation? Title? Visual (if there is one)?

Rhetoric, allusion, satire/sarcasm etc. Also analyse how the argument is formed for example does it attack a person rather than an idea (for example attacking someone's credibility to put forth an argument rather than their argument)?

essays (critical responses) shouldnt have those things in them though?




id say look for bias maybe. i havent got a clue; i never really thaught about that.
