I'm doing Hamlet in class and I was wondering how you would express your own perspective of the play in a Critical essay, (because you can't write it in first person), so how would you do it.

Write with a tone of "conviction".

Examples:
"As [critic] argues, Hamlet is a play centered on......"

"Evidently, Hamlet is a play about........"

OR, use the power of the audience: "... in doing so, the audience is challenged to discern ..."

Use the "audience" as yourself
