How do you guys study for an exam? (1 Viewer)

Soo hows do you study for an upcoming exam? What are methods of studying? I just read over notes... which is really bad >.<'' Any suggestions?

Well, yeah, like everybody I write notes usually throughout the year but I try and somehow make it interesting so that when it comes to memorising the stuff it's easier as I find myself learning faster if I find something interesting, so you could try that.

- Write your notes and read them straight away after you finish them.
- Get someone to test you from your notes, and test them in return <- this helps a lot of people remember, from what I've seen
- Do past papers, and look at answers to them which got high marks
- Go over previous papers you have done, and write down where you went wrong and how you can fix the problem, or any weak areas you've noticed
- If you have to remember a crapload of vocab, turn them into a song

It depends on the subject....usually for english, commerce, hsie, etc I write out notes, memorise them by reading over my notes a couple of times and I do some practice questions in the textbook...where as for maths, I just do questions out of the book as maths is the only subject I dont make notes for :)
