I keep trying to study for English, and just sit there not knowing what to do. I know it's like 2 weeks to go till the English exam.. which is why I'm stressing out. I have a text guide for the area of study/text I'm doing, but it doesn't help much.

Just try and see if you can answer as many essay questions as possible. I don't mean writing out new essays for each, but try and see if you can directly address what the questions are asking of you and test if the material you've learnt can be applied.

i write generic essays for each module and memorise them, and modify them to suit the question on the day. did that for my trials except for one module, and that was my lowest section so yeah think it works (at least it does for me). some people don't like doing this though..

I just write Introductions, topic sentences and conclusions for a variety of questions. Usually takes about 10min/question.
