You have to talk about growth, and the need for the individual to be in solitude in order to seek spiritual, physical and emotional enlightnment. {IN REFERENCE TO CONTEXT, coz this module is all about context and text, and it's comparison}

WW chooses to go to nature, therefore he responds to nature by accepting it, it nourishes him, and causes him to mature. That's why he always refers to its aesthetic beauty, for example, 'insert quote here about landscape'.

However, maloufs character ovid, is exiled therefore he innitially despises it, and it is only through the wild child, who represents the ultimate symbol of nature, is he able to seek moral and spiritual guidance, for example, he is able to let go of the guilt that he has been holding for 30 yrs {in reference to his father/brother} and it is only then he is able to feel 'the sunishine' on his back, which metaphrases his newfound growth.

-also refer to the scattering of the seeds.
- and the 2nd last page when he dies, when he lowers himself 'grain by grain', agricultural imagery, v important, he depicts his return to nature, as in fact his return to god... -spiritual transcendence
