Im taking the course and since the project is internally marked, how do people end up winning awards for their projects? do they had to put them into competitions or are the 'award winning' ones dictated by NESA?

the best two essays from the school are sent to HTANSW (history teacher's association) by the head history teacher where there is a judging panel that decides the winning awards
