For my international business degree I have to choose 2 electives out of a pool given. My first elective Ive choosen is marketing which I love to bits. But there really arent any other electives im remotley interested in. Ive based my decision to do a major fall back on or have easy going subjects.

Can't really help you as sociology is a fairly big field.

Do a philosophy unit. Something like Critical Thinking and Formal Logic are arguably fairly straight forwards (maybe the former more so for most people). You learn pretty good generic skills in these untis too.
