From the point A(2.2) on the curve y = 1/4x^3, a line is drawn // to the y-axis to meet the x-axis at B and a line is drawn // to the x-axis to meet the y-axis at C. Show that the curve divides the resultant rectaangle in the ratio 1:3

its (1/4)x^3 or...... x^3/4

kk cool.. i get it..

but how come when i do it my way i get a different answer.. when i integrate with dy....

y did u take it as 4 X y^(4/3)

instead of

(4y)^4/3

?
