This sounds silly, but how long should I be studying? Like just give me an approximate... Say it's a Saturday, how many hours is standard when studying for the HSC? I never know if like I'm doing enough... is there anyone else in the same boat as me? Or anyone who's on the other side and knows exactly what they're doing? Haha
Replies would be beeeuut <3 :)

Depends how consistent you're throughout the year. To be honest, i don't do much, probably 2-3 hrs MAX unless i have an exam/assignment the next week.

Its actually really hard to tell (how much we should do). For me I think I overdo it sometimes... Feel guilty if I am doing anything other than studying :/ How many do you do?

Well it kind of depends... like if I don't have any upcoming assignments/exams, usually maybe like 4 hours? But that's after school and I'm the biggest procrastinator out there, so it probably amounts to 1 hour of solid study haha
But like for example, I have a maths trial exam paper on monday, I've been studying since about 12 noon? Not straight though! Probably like 4 hours? I get distracted so easily ahh D:

I do like 6 hours a day, like now because of trials, but before 1 hour a day, just for maths and 2 for sciences. If I had an English assignment I would do it on that day.

Ie.

chemistry - 3-4
Bio- 4-5

English - 3 hour

maths- 8-9

Now- 6 hours on each subject each day, pure focusing on past papers and revising the content thoroughly. After that I running 2K, and then Gym for about 2 hours. Relex at night, watch Tv.

On Saturday party all night! Jokes, I am not that type of person, I study all night?

Haha I get you, after studying say during the day on Saturday, all I want to do is be a couch bum and watch tv or something... my friends literally have to stop outside my house and harass me into coming out (yes that has happened literally... the beeping was so embarrassing)

try 15 hours tomorrow because of the maths trials, are you doing the CSSA Paper, do you do maths 2u, lol

I do maths 2u, ext 1- I think maths 2u would be easily, 10 MC should be a piece of cake to grab the marks... and its 3 hours exam, I feel like I would ace it!

Yeah 2U-ing, I'm screwed. Maths is gonna be my worst subject even though I put more work into that than everything else combined haha

Looking at your marks in your sig why don't you do 4U?

I did 4 unit maths at the start of the year, I bombed my half-yearly since I was paying more attention to sciences and I got 100% for the 2u half-yealy, so I decided to drop 4 unit, lol. But I can till get 99.95 with these subjects, I aced most of my trials, I think, also I have maths and bio left to ace.
