So in my year 12 group there are only 37 of us - for a rural school.

We therefore have very small classes, and I was wondering how many people are in your classes - and do you think it is a better environment with a big group or a small group?

Advanced English - 6
General Mathematics - 10 (this is only in my class, as there are two)
Economics - 4
Business Studies - 10
Biology - 7
Food Technology (dist ed) - 5 (however, I am the only one in my grade)

I'm rural too, about 65ish.
I def agree small classes are good although it would be good to have these other advantages city schools have. Like access to resources etc.
The 5 extra UAI points are awesome!

I like how small my English and Biology classes are though. It leads to better discussions and it's more personal plus we somehow end up working through work a lot quicker than with the bigger classes.

Although only having 4 people in my Economics class is pretty goods at times too. More time is spent on us, whereas if there were more the focus of the teacher would be re-directed and less personal. So it's just my cousin (who's naturally gifted in the subject), me and two good friends. Yet as boring as it is at times I probably wouldn't change it, but I do miss social interaction during class like with other classes.
