How many Sylvia Plath poems is it recommended we know?
When the test says 'refer to your set text', do we refer to all of the poems or only 2?

i neva knew sylvia plath was on teh syllabus, i thought it was ted hughes, neway i have no idea bout the answer to ur q, but i think we're expected to know 3 trials in the jusice game thouroghly, but we shud b also able to namedrop the rest of teh trials and integrate into our responses...prolly the same for frontline and the poems. Check out some sample exemplar responses for telling the truth and c how many poems they use...

There are like the 7 that are on the syllabus, so when you are answering the question which asks you to refer to your core text, those are the ones you have to talk about...
But you dont need to refer to them all, just choose maybe 3 or 4, and then when answering the quesiton use like 2-3 of them.. Just know about the extra ones so you have more leeway with answering the different specific questions

dont do ted hughes, i do frontline, but i imagine its a similiar situation ot that and to wordsworth/malouf in 'in the wild' - u have ted hughes as your prescribed text and that's probably 6 or 7 poems id imagine. if thats the case, than ur only expected to talk about 3 - think about it logically anyway, if u have to show in-depth knowledge of the text, there's no way u can talk about all 7 poems plus found texts in 40 minutes is there?
