He's probably talking aligned mark 90, which only requires around 65% raw mark.

hmm id say a lil more than 65% raw but varies on difficulty of exam...i always thought 70-80% ...wud b nice if it was 65% tho, gives me a bit more hope :p

Algebra bashing is probably the worst part of 4u. I mean, I know I'm lazy and all and ready for the quick solution, but sometimes it is matter of chance (particularly in exam conditions) if you can push a big question all the way through. Isn't 4u about the "elegance of maths"?

90/120 would be very nice. anything more is pretty much a bonus for me, but all the best to those who can get more. :cool:

illness... i was in hosp for bits of topics. i was able to get the gist of things, but not to the extend that i would like.
our entire class (6 of us) were behind, too. we did a crash course for mechanics - most of the class is going to leave mechanic questions to the end, anc look at them if there is time.
