i'm doing TWO from the stimulas, TWO from syrenecki (poetry) and TWO other texts which are both movies so i got to change it... hehe change

Depends on the question, but i'm going to know 4 GH poems, 2 stimulus booklet texts, and probably 3-4 related texts (only know 3 atm, but i might find something else).

edit: only 4 GH poems if father and child are considered 1.

our teacher said you only need 2 poems/1 stimulus (sky high) and 2 supplementary material.

I don't get how you are gonna write an essay thats good enough using 6 additional material in 40 mins ?

what we were supposed to know:

3 skrzynecki poems
at least 2 from the stimulus booklet
all 3 from our related texts portfolio

that makes 8 texts all up "to be learnt"
meaning we can then pick and choose which ones we'd use in the exam, depending on the question.

so, i have decided to do the following:
3 poems
1 from stimulus (required)
2 related
------------
6 texts, it sure beats 8 texts in 40 minutes

the key? integrated responses.

ive tried like 3 times and i cant get anything out. i know how it relates and stuff but i just put it out.
anyone care to share theirs?

What are you going to do if any of your 2 poems/1 stim/2 supps don't fit the question?

I'm not actually gonna use everything i know, but i'll decide what i'll use when i see the question.

I'm going to do Alibrandi, one stimulus (prolly the door or fractal, or maybe sky high), and two related texts. Took me around 55 minutes, so i've got to work fast on the other 2 questions..

I don't know about you guys, but my tacher said that we should know two poems (Harwood) in detail, 1 Stimulus, and two of our own in detail. Otherwise if you write about 8 different texts, you only really have enough time to do it superficially, in which case you would have been better to manipulate the question to suit your texts you studied in detail. *takes breath* Hope you understand what i mean!

I'm doing 'On Giants' Shoulders' by Melyvn Bragg. (Changing worlds)

For my trials I have that, the 'fractals' text fron the booklet, and 2 supplementary texts.

One of my supplementary texts is an article, the other is a music video.
