When looking over the requirements for admission into law at ANU, the handbook vaguely comments on two ways my selection rank could be raised without some equality/disadvantage application and be admitted if "marginally" below the cut off.
What kind of marks are considered high marks in English? B6? And would my completion of English Extension 1 be also inclusive of this?
The letter of motivation/aptitude is the other method of making it but it also is pretty vague in detail in exactly how many .05 points you can fall below the cutoff and still make it in if successful with this pathway.
I would appreciate insights from current law students at ANU that might have got in marginally below the cut off with these "bonus points" or anyone that knows anything about them.
ANU law is my first preference and my expecting atar is looking to be extremely close to 96 (last years cutoff) and either going to be a little bit over or short. What would be around the bare minimum atar l could get and realistically still have a chance?
