In general per week and per garment? I try and buy cheaper types of clothes because I don't like wearing them for long.

I like to spend no more than
$50 for pants
$80 for jeans
$50 for winter tops
$30 for summer tops
$30 for summer shoes
$70 for winter shoes

sometimes I spend more but those are my general guidelines

I don't buy clothes every week. But i refuse to spend more than $50 for a pair of jeans. In fact, most of my pants I bought for $20. Tops, i don't pay more than $30 if it's a jumper, $20 if its another top. In fact, I recently bought 7 tops for just over $20. And they're not shit tops either. I'm a good bargain shopper. Dresses, I like to slurge a little, but I mainly buy then in sheike's 30-50% off sales.

Go me. I am a cheap arse!

I'm just guessing on my averages.

T-shirts, singlets etc: $40
Jumpers: $100
Jeans/Pants: $160
Skirts: $80
Dresses: $100
Shoes: $200?
Hats (dont mind me, I love hats): $20-30ish

But then again, I'm not taking into account the fact that I go bargain shopping in China/HK/eBay... And that would mean my averages should be divided by about 10.

I only buy clothes
1. If I need them
2. If there's huge specials on
3. If I find something I really like that's not grossly overpriced

Well my highschool expenditure on clothes was about $500 spent over about 6 years ( not including my formal which was $900 on just clothes ). Last year though I spent about $800 and this year I hope to spend only $500 ( currently at the $300 mark ).

My spending on clothes has increased. So I only buy what I really want and need. Like if there was a good shirt I wanted I'd wait till it was on sale to get it. Sometimes I find really good shirts that I just have to have like the $200 Zambelli shirt down to $25. I need more jeans/cargoes though.

i definitely dont shop all the time...but when i do, my limits are pretty low:
jeans: $40 (absolue max = $50)
pants: $30
tops: $25 (absolute max = $30)
jackets: casual ones - $25, nice ones - $40
jumpers: casual - $25, nice - $30
shoes: $30 for normal shoes, $40 for boots (mum usually buys my shoes, but i'm still stingey)

i love sales (dont care about brand, just as long as it looks good on/suits me)...& op shops/factory outlets have some good stuff if you know where to look

I'll spend whatever I have to on pants and jeans if they fit right, only because it's really hard for me to find pants aren't too long in the crotch (I have a really big issue with this coz i'm short waisted) or too tight in the leg. Normally I'd spend..
$80 for skirts
$60 for winter tops
$40 for summer tops
$17 for summer shoes (havaianas is my ultimate summer shoe)
$150-$200 for winter shoes

ditto, especially if i find a pair of jeans that fits awesomely or a shirt that i really love. i draw the line at spending like $100 on a singlet or something stupid like that though.

I'm a bit of a bargain hunter and I love to dig through clothes at markets I got a whole heap of blouses and skirts for work for about $100 in total. If I find something that's amazingly perfect then I'll buy it, but I'm not into spending big $$$ on basic items I could I could find elsewhere, cheaper.

I have to pay more for shoes purely because I have huge feet and the only shoes that ever fit are hella expensive.

T-shirts - $35 at most.
Shirts - $50 at most.
Shorts - $40 at most.
Pants - No idea... I usually get by with jeans and they have been going strong for some time.
Shoes - Around $140 every year and half to two years for a pair of walking shoes.

Too much, but eh, I tend to wear each piece til it's faded beyond recognition, and no matter how poor I may feel at the time I'm never willing to let my feet suffer.

i probably spend about 50 a week overall, some weeks much more and other weeks marginally less.

i dont put limits on things, basically if i love it enough i'll pay a lot for something.
