hmmm..... i dont give as much time as i should!!!!
generally i only concentrate on eng the night b4 a 20% assessment is due LOL, im not that bad but i really need to shape up and start doing some practice exams and stuff!
SO for all the ppl that do devote time to english- how much? and more importantly does it pay off?
yeh i dont spend as much time on english as i should!!!
If I have an assessment coming up then yeh I'll prepare for it but when it comes to revision....doesnt happen as much as it should!! I think I need a good kick up the bum!
I used to neglect English and maybe still do cos English is like an everyday language, however now we hafto write essays etc.
I used to think: "my other subjects' marks will make up for my bad english"........but now i wanna do speech pathology, so now I'm at crossroads and feel like i need to put a lot more effort in and not take English for granted.......
i caned prelim english (98% yay!) so i really let myself go this year... but then i realised that was kinda stupid when i mucked up my first assessment on aos (10/15... =P)
now i'm doing a lot better... improved heaps for modules A and i'm doin okay for mod B... but yeh... i think it's maybe cus i hate area of study sooooo much like u wouldn't believe...
i'm working maybe a couple of hours each week for english (just homework)... but maybe about.... 4 (?) hours a week extra just typing up notes and writing practice essays. Come exam time i just spend most of my time memorising chunks out of essays and referring to my notes/summaries (it's a lot easier than trying to read thru my book)
hehe... is this too much? maybe... but i'm not that consistent.. i'll maybe do like.. 12 hours of english work in one week and 3 hours the next week... -.-;;
