is there a more efficient way than just dropping the subject and re-enrolling?

Swap the subject for itself.

Though just a note, when you do that, do it quickly, cos in that time gap, people can enrol into your previously enrolled lecture/lab/seminar. Best to do it late in the night.

Yup, but there isn't a restriction on when this ability finishes is there? And do the roles get automatically updated for the staff, or do you have to see them yourself.

Well alot of classes are full so that might restrict you,

Though in the second week or so, people move alot between tuts and lectures...so..

when does this function of swapping tutes/lab/lecture times end?

i looked up the key enrolment dates and got this:

"Friday 10 March 2006 Last day to enrol in Semester 1 courses" <--- is this when it ends?

yep. should be... I dont know. it's either this friday or friday the next week.

You can change classes whenever you want - but you might just get a penalty for it depending on when you do it.
