Microsoft discontinued support for windows xp on computers in 2014 but will continue support for xp on atms till April 9, 2019.
You can trick microsoft to think your computer is an atm and therefore continue to get the updates till 2019 as follows.
Create a file called xp.reg with notepad. Copy and paste this into it:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\PosReady]
"Installed"=dword:00000001
Save it and close notepad.
Now double-click the file and allow it to insert itself into the registry of your computer.
Running windows update will now get all the new updates till 2019.
