i want to make a torrent file and then have it so that it can be found when searching a site. How do i go about doing so?
This actually has its own tracker. You just click create torrent, choose the file, and click create. Done, then just upload the torrent file to a website and start sharing/seeding.darksbane said:You'll also need a tracker, this is a good public one: click me as is this: click me You basicly have to get the tracker url provided on their sites and make sure you put it in the torrent when you create it, Azureus makes it pretty clear where to put it. Mongo56 doesnt require you to upload the torrent to their site in order to track it so you can just upload it straight to an index site like this but they requires you to upload it to their site in order to track it I believe. Then you can also upload it to other index sites. If you need any more help, let me know
lol if you look at the bottom of each post some moronic mod has editted all the posts and added in that BS movie for every link.darksbane said:I didnt click that link based on the url as it looks like somethin I've already seen, possibly because its the same as the link in your first post, though I didn't click it either. Just for the record, not all P2P/bittorrent stuff is piracy, there is plenty of legitimate stuff out there that is not in breach of any copyrights.
lol then you're both moronic idiots.playboy2njoy said:That 'moronic' moderator was alerted to the illegal nature of this thread by myself. I direct you to this thread: http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=77585 . The implications of any piracy are too big to ignore.
Hmm, well what'cha know, the site has no hosted pirated material, in fact there aren't even any sites listed on the bitcomet site which have 'hosted pirated material'.hyperlinking to sites which host pirated material

I suggest the particular mod reviews the so-called 'rules' and actually develops some form of knowledge regarding Tech and 'IT Stuff', particularly determing the difference between what is legal and not.

If you have a concern about how I moderate this forum, which as we have seen was a mistake on my behalf over the contents of your hyperlink, then publically seeking to degrade me will not get you anywhere. I do not see why you couldn't send me a private message, but instead chose to jump to conclusions about why your post was edited.treelovinhippie said:I suggest the particular mod reviews the so-called 'rules' and actually develops some form of knowledge regarding Tech and 'IT Stuff', particularly determing the difference between what is legal and not.
exactly... I only posted one link and it DID NOT infringe the copyright rules or whateverI was unaware that one of these was not infringing copyright
