Yes we have PDHPE classes and P.E, but what i mean is an actually class thats aim is to improve your health first hand.
*Its from Grades K-12
*unlike P.E its everyday just like maths or english,
*More likely thought by a trained professional,
*its more direct with it activities not just fun and game (running, swimming, aerobics, cycling) to make sure workload isn't focused on a few people (some can only),
*Your assessed on how far you can run, swim, lift and etc. Its less of a grade than a list of what you can do base on fitness.
*If you keep performing under parr, a teacher is able to call your parents to make an active solution.
*The random PDHPE stuff like sex, psychology, development are absorbed by another class.

Why?
It would be an interesting thing to see in schools, because its more than apparent that the increasing commercialising of sports has opened several promising career paths that provide salaries that more than surpasses salaries of academics (In other words being healthy can open up careers that can be just as good or better as being smart). We are also learning that specially in Australia poor physical health and obesity is the leading cause of health problems in Australia (in front of cancer and smoking), its costing us billions of dollars a year taxes any way. This way your health and physical capabilities are always known by you, your teachers and people around so that solutions are available to you at all times and from earlier on (not when 50 and having to lose weight or else you'll, meloldramatic but true). Just like how your School and family notices you are under performing in maths and provide solutions on how you and your family can change that at home, this focus on health can provide a similar process of improving health. Perhaps if something like this works, kids who have never been big on sports but have been brought up to an expectation of physical health might wake up one day with a growth spurt sometime in high school may find out that they have this "Good Will Hunting"-like savante skill in a sport and make millions more than if they discovered this but do not match health wise.
