hey, does anyone know why you have to give your student number when you ring?? LoL, im kinda paranoid that they're gonna put a mark next to my name saying that im stupid or something ( yes and the paranoia kinda confirms it),

but yeah i just found it strange that they would need your student number...

Lol maybe for records? Dw they won't strike your name out... at least they better not because I have seriously called the advice line 15 times so far.

My teacher said they need to know who you are in case they give you the wrong information and need to call you back etc. They don't have info about what school you come from, but they do have your name/phone number/subjects that you're taking.

its for that ^^^^ aswell as to ensure that your an actual student calling so as to not fill up the phonelines.
