hay people who has some good info on this sub section, my teacher thinks for some reason that their well be like a fair bit on this in the exams,

things like mp4 and other random areas of new technologies in multimedia.

anything to do with discs will just mean more storage (speed isn't that much of a problem anymore)

anything to do with codec (mp4,mp2 ) will just mean higher quality videos without losing too much data.

anything to do with communication links will have to do with amount of information able to be streamed (think of broadband internet streaming movies over the internet or foxtel digital with all the extra chanels but the same cables)

cpu's faster everything...common sense if u realise what they're talking about.

Obviously your not going to answer with that, just elaborate.
I could write a paragraph or two on each of the above,

I can't see them going into more specifics then that.
They want to focus on peoples answers rather than people who know this stuff outside of syllabus/school.

yeah so basically its just general computer stuff about new items that pop up on the market like mp4 players and new computer items and what not, oh well thanks for the info mate.

Am sorta with yr teacher on that - I warned my kids to study up on converging technologies - it was why we spent Thursday's watching Beyond Tomorrow
