Well BOS, thought id share my experience. not to long ago, bout 20 mins ago actually, i got hurt by a girl i really liked. heres the story, bit long but deal with it. we'd seen eachother 4 times, plus had some previous history, hookin up together, and had spent 3 months gettin to know eachother. so anyway this weekend, fri nite she calls me up at 10.30pm to go over her friends place, i did we hooked up more, always do when we see eachother, i find out she really likes me. i tell her i like her. goes well, saturday-spend entire day together, goes great. so today, started talkin to her on msn, she then proceds to tell me she aint ready for a relationship right now, even though she likes me and enjoys spendin time with me. this totally crushed my world. far out..ive been sad for the last half hour...someone help with anything please.

2) Shit man, you strung it out a fair bit. I mean, I know about trying to make her miss you and stuff but you took it a bit far.

2) An entire day!? If it went good, then that's good. This is really the other extreme of the previous mistake.

3,526) Now see, this is where you really fucked up. You don't tell a girl you like her until you have gone out like, 10 times. And going out isn't coincidental meetings then getting with each other, I mean real one-on-one dates. It comunicates all the wrong things about you when you confess your love and it breaks the sexual tension in the relationship. Don't tell a girl you like her, they love the drama and mystery of not knowing if you like them. I mean think about it, she finds out you like her so her job is done, she'll quickly get bored because she's already conquered you.

It has nothing to do with the fact that he may have had a father who was abusive to women and therefore the trait was continued as he believed that was the correct behaviour.

The abuse was probably because of stress caused from a woman.
