hi guys,

confusion: isnt hybridisation mixing of two different strained organisms i.e. two different species, say from the same genus e.g. horse and donkey...

but the syllabus mentions "process information from secondary sources to describe an example of hybridisation within a species and explain the purpose of this hybridisation"

what do they mean by within a species?????

thanks heaps.

It just ask for a species that have resulted from hydridisation from two different species. So your horse and donkey example is fine.
